My tribute to Kwan Yin on my back.
This tattoo I wanted for over 10 years.  I did it as part of my ritual body modification.  This is a physical manifestation of my spiritual dedication to the Goddess and the path of Dharma. (referring to the concept not my name at the moment)  This is the component of compassion, that infinite compassion is my primary path, my ultimate goal, to hope to live up to the standards of the Goddess Kwan Yin, who attained Nirvana but refused to leave this world until every living being has attained enlightenment.
She has always been a guide for me.  I see her in places I’m supposed to visit, and often her image leads me to people who become important fixtures in my life.  She has done this since I was young before I knew who she was.  My love and connection to her cannot adequately be described in words.  The offering of my body is even insufficient to express it, but she is both my guide and my inspiration.  :)
